About the Journal

Endocrinology is the science of signaling — where hormones orchestrate metabolism, growth, reproduction, and homeostasis, and where disruption of those signals drives some of the most prevalent and complex diseases in modern medicine. Kmed Journal of Endocrinology is built for endocrinologists, diabetologists, and metabolic disease researchers who are doing work that reshapes how we understand the body's most powerful chemical messengers.

We publish original research, case reports, systematic reviews, and clinical observations across the full spectrum of endocrine and metabolic medicine — from rare glandular tumors to the global epidemic of type 2 diabetes. Every submission undergoes rigorous peer review, and every published article is freely accessible to the global medical community.

Scope & Focus Areas

We welcome submissions across all dimensions of endocrinology, including:

  • Diabetes Mellitus & Insulin Disorders — type 1, type 2, MODY, gestational diabetes, and glycemic management strategies
  • Thyroid Disorders — hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroiditis, goiter, and thyroid malignancies
  • Obesity & Metabolic Syndrome — adiposity, insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, and cardiometabolic risk
  • Adrenal Disorders — Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease, pheochromocytoma, and adrenal incidentalomas
  • Pituitary & Hypothalamic Disease — acromegaly, prolactinomas, hypopituitarism, and diabetes insipidus
  • Reproductive Endocrinology — PCOS, hypogonadism, menstrual disorders, and fertility-related hormonal dysfunction
  • Bone & Calcium Metabolism — osteoporosis, hyperparathyroidism, rickets, and metabolic bone disease
  • Paediatric Endocrinology — growth disorders, precocious puberty, congenital hypothyroidism, and childhood diabetes
  • Endocrine Oncology — neuroendocrine tumors, MEN syndromes, and endocrine manifestations of malignancy
  • Emerging Therapies & Pharmacology — GLP-1 agonists, SGLT2 inhibitors, novel insulin formulations, and precision endocrinology
